Amanda Knox Freed; Italy Requests Emergency U.N. Aid For Egg Removal From Nation's Face

Amanda Knox did not deserve to have so many years of her life wasted. The prosecutor who somehow was able to get a guilty verdict is a confirmed fruitcake.

The joyful reaction of the defendants contrasted sharply with the looks of ashen disappointment by prosecutors and relatives of Ms. Kercher. They had flown to Perugia on Monday.

“It was a bit of a shock obviously,” her sister, Stephanie Kercher, said on Italian television after the verdict. Lyle Kercher, the brother of the slain woman, said he was “very disappointed.” He added, “In any case, no one will give us Meredith back, but we are very upset.”

So apparently the family of the murder victim are in favour of police and prosecutors fixating on murder suspects and running with that football despite there being a dearth of uhm actual evidence.

Mignini has claimed that Preston is masterminding a US press campaign against him over his handling of the Amanda Knox case

The story begins almost a decade ago, long before Meredith Kercher's murder, when the pubblico ministero (public prosecutor) of Perugia, Giuliano Mignini, opened an investigation into the mysterious death of a doctor whose body was found floating in Lake Trasimeno in 1985.

Mignini believed the doctor was connected to a satanic sect, which had murdered him because he was about to go to the police and reveal its many crimes. Mignini believed this shadowy cult was connected to infamous murders committed by a serial killer known as the Monster of Florence....

Then, in 2007, came the murder of Meredith Kercher. Mignini took up the case with a vengeance. He and the entire Perugian power establishment, who approved various stages in the investigation and subsequent arrests, rushed to judgment. Believing that Knox's behaviour after the killing was less than normal, they hauled her in for a gruelling and possibly abusive 14-hour interrogation and extracted a compromising statement from her. That was enough....

About 50% of all criminal convictions in Italy are reversed or greatly modified on appeal. Knox and Sollecito join the 4 million Italians since the war who have seen their lives ruined by false criminal charges, only to be proclaimed innocent after many years of agony and imprisonment.

While they don't like others pointing it out, many Italians are well aware that their judicial system is dysfunctional. Silvio Berlusconi is absolutely right when he says the judiciary needs fundamental reform. The Italian judiciary, a holdover to a great extent from the Mussolini era, when Italy was a police state, acts with no checks and balances, in which prosecutors and police wield enormous power.

Look, I admit this blog entry has been mailed in. Nonetheless, as 2+2=4, so it can be said that the satanic panic has been a rubbish craze that has ruined many lives. It's time for Italy to get its act together, or they should expect a massive drop in tourism. Who wants to visit a country that is this backwards and would take so many years to correct such an obvious and idiotic injustice?

By the way, there is a certain individual by the name of Neil Brick who claims to have been some form of manchurian brainwashed assassin. He has sued blogger Doug Mesner. Brick's attorney has actually subpoenaed my yahoo account.

I wrote to the attorney basically asking wtf, wondering if he had actually researched Neil's claims before taking the case. He replied that perhaps he'd take me up on my offer to talk with him, but that they are still in the discovery phase.

Doug Mesner did nothing wrong, imho. He went to one of those satanic panic mind control conferences and reported on it. I can understand Neil following through. But Keith Sachs? No, I don't understand.

I don't feel too comfortable blogging about my personal situation. There is a lot going on in the background, and it's best for me not to share that. It's not that I don't want to.

Since the cybersmears are so outrageous and clearly untrue, there is no rush for me to confront them right now in a public forum. Perhaps in the future, make that probably, I will. What is being done to me, in lack of a better word, is illegal. So please be patient. All in good time. And if you can make it through my schtick below, there will be a treat at the end.

There is no real left in America. I find it humorous how so many of you actually think people like Markos Moulitsas and Arianna Huffington represent the left. Or that Obama is a socialist.

The funny part of this is Patterico seems to think his blog has some form of political push or gravitas. No one cares about blogs. No one in “real life” cares what any of us think.

People go to the net for sports, stock #’s, the weather, to use email, etc..

Maybe most of you think the people cybersmearing me are part and parcel of this so-called fringe left or simply left as someone put it. No, they are not. Not even close.

If I had to guess, the people who helped force Weiner into resigning are simply on another Democrat’s payroll or of the old boy’s headquarters. Those aren’t the left. Have you never heard of triangulation?

That convolution, imho, is becoming clearer by the day. And you’re falling into the trap by succumbing to the same old same old libtard versus repukelican script.

Obama’s gonna get re-elected. His job bill was a masterful political move. Now Bill Clinton has come out with some opinions. Your only chance for conservative ideology to succeed politically is to also triangulate yourselves. If you don’t move to the left and soon, forget it. You won’t be winning the Presidency again for a very long time.

So keep yapping like know-it-alls of how evil the left is, and you’ll find yourselves more and more aligned with the fringe on the right.

You should be pushing for Ron Paul. Better yet, you need to find someone with a similar antiwar platform who doesn’t seem as nutty with everything else.

People want jobs. They want low taxes for regular people. They don’t want cuts in health care, schools, road repairs, you name it. The right historically has whined so much about spending, but take a good look at how much national debt was amassed under Reagan, Bush, and Bush. Look at how under Clinton, the budget deficit was drastically reduced and perhaps eliminated, and a plan was on its way to start paying off the national debt. It is because of Clinton that interest rates started to drop. The only reason they dropped under Bush was because they had nothing left in which to prop up their illegal war economy.

Most of you seem to be preaching to your own ever diminishing choir. You better hope voting apathy continues. Because the more people are registered, the more likely it is the Republican Party eventually branches off. Right now the Democratic Party is a blend of Republican and Democrat. The Republicans as constituted are turning into the main stream fringe.

You guys need to wake up and smell the inequality and collective fear for the future. People are tired of high unemployment. You may actually lose Florida. It’s been close of late. You guys are living in a plastic bubble if you actually believe things are looking good for your party’s political prospects.

People are sick of both parties. They are sick of these word games. They are tired of the Patterico’s of the world blabbing about the fringe left.

The dude’s a prosecutor in Los Angeles. He has more dogma than academic background. I just found out Breitbart is basically a regular guy for an extreme right winger who’s found 15 minutes of fame. I heard his bloggers aren’t even paid. He’s a big fish in a small pond, bigger than most of us, but not really in the grand scam of social reality. I’m telling you, this libtard versus repukelican noise pollution act has gotten beyond stale. No one is listening, and no one cares.

Time to Batten Down the Hatches

Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy night.

It looks like we're about to get battered by Hurricane Irene. This blog recently got nailed by Hurricane WTF. Due to an inability to raise funds, quite a number of entries were deleted. Free speech is not available for the poor. That's my conclusion.

Nonetheless, everything has been saved. I do expect to find a way to fight back against this injustice. Due to obvious reasons, I am not able to share details at this time.

So where does that leave this blog? I'm not exactly sure. I am happy the bulk of it survived. I do expect to be able to restore the lost information, i.e. facts and opinion based on facts, sometime in the future.

I found a nifty gadget. Now the latest posts can be accessed. That will make it easier to dust off archive rust.

I'm still suffering from a bit of writer's block. Nothing's really inspiring me to post new stuff. And I have to take care of real life concerns before jumping back into the fray.

By the way, those deleted entries can still be found through google cache. Just search site:davefromqueens2.blogspot.com and add the ex-con's name. Though I'm sure he'll try to get those erased too. The truth hurts.
