Meta Lollapalooza- Right Circumscribing Left

For some reason, I find the shadowthief username fascinating. His posts at Booman Tribune and Daily Kos, from what I looked at, were very good, imho. But then one hears all this bad stuff about him, and the mysteries accumulate. Was he the same dude as the Blogging Curmudgeon? Was he some sort of concern troll, or as donkeytale said, some form of a double agent?

Then I start wondering about the Blogging Curmudgette. Heck, I wonder about a lot of this stuff from the past. It intrigues the fock out of me.

Anyway, I started out at this Marisacat thread. From reading some posts, it appears that shadowthief and the Blogging Curmudgeon were not the same person. I mean, ST and MCat were chatting away, and it seems to me as if Blogging Curmudgeon was a third person.

One can also look at post #94, where MCat refers to both Curmudgeon and Curmudgette. It wasn't the way one would think she would phrase things, if shadowthief was Curmudgeon.

Uhm, perhaps we should look at the rest of post #91 which preceded the above excerpt.

The only thing that ever happened with Curmudgette as in thsi thread. Starts at about comment 29.

The Blogging Curmudge was careening around the netteries slamming me for my rather simple commentary on Msock. “Go home rest and stop hiding behind the kid. Get a grip. You are boring”

But he was not being consistent. He was coming here complaining about Msock, then emailing a commenter here that he would never post here for a list of reasons.

It was too looney.

So I posted that if Curmudgette agreed with TBC I would be happy to delink from the blogrool.

Not a big deal.

I left a comment at TBCurmudgeon site.

WHile there I noticed Curmudgette had a piece decrying blogging practices and linking to a thread at MBM that was inhabited with DavidBYron, Pyrrho and Supersoling. LOL Gettng their tiny rocks off slamming me. She also linked to a really stupid fp piece by Martin, his Paparazzi piece… slamming me (as well as others, mostly people who started MBM), using a blockquote of a smush of all sorts of comments here from all sorts of people and linking only to an old Sept 06 post here that had nothing to do with blogging or Blahgers…

I asked her that as I was the subject of the two posts she linked to, to please link to my site. Not to delve in and find a post of mine that related to such wide disparity of slams but to link to my site.

She refused saying the post was not about me. yes but she linked to two posts that were all in reference to me.

Basically, I must say that Marisacat comes across, in my humble opinion, as being legit, same with HRH. I'm kind of leaning towards agreeing with Marisacat's analysis, that Curmudgeon and Curmudgette had been working some sort of scam script. The only problem is that the Blogging Curmudgeon made some excellent posts at Booman's. I guess I then lean towards donkeytale's idea of a double agent. Perhaps bait and switch is a good phrase to apply also. But questions linger. Did a poster known as shadowthief have his username stolen and misused similar to how we've seen attempts done to a bunch of us, or was he also part of the act?

Don't Let the Paparazzi Get You Down

There are a lot of goodies to be found in that thread. It appears like Booman was being a whiner of epic proportions trying to cover up the fact that he is indeed a proprietor of some form of fake DKos refugee haven. He was upset that information he had put out about his girlfriend was revealed. He was all over Marisacat as discussed in the MCat thread.

It's as if the Kos Empire was at a point, where they wanted to establish strategies for shutting down sincere meta growing outside of their control.

Again supersoling shows up as usual. Who the hell is this guy, and why has he been in the middle of so much? Wormwood made a great observation a while back. Supersoling and shadowthief can be found on a lot of the same threads. But more than that, he noticed this.... colorsplash62 for supersoling and Shadowthief1962. That is definitely a strange coincidence.

Then what was up with LouisianaGirl and her porn is good for feminism attitude? Curmudgeon's responses were very funny. That's actually a fun thread to look through. It had a Dickensian type evolution with a bunch of layers to it.

The thing with the pole dancing debate actually triggered in my noggin the way Ben Burch has been some alleged feminist who supports the sex industry. Oh wow, if folks could get out of their Kos-centric Meta tunnels, there's a dude who is ripe to be looked into. He's a Mr. Libertarian with a bit too much influence in the "progressive" blogosphere. He also got busted harrassing Violet Blue, a well-known sex writer from California. But this is Digression City.

I'm simply trying to wrap up my Meta questions to the best of my abilities. It can be never ending. It can become mind boggling. Yet, many things can be figured out.

In short, I don't trust Curmudgette one bit. I don't buy into any of the stuff that went on between herself and Curmudgeon. I do believe in MarisaCat, though I admit I'm not one to read her blog too often.

I've a few more goodies to share with this post. I'm not a spammer or blog wrecker, and that's my explanation for some of these longer ones. If folks are into it, they can take from it what they want. If others don't care, they don't have to read it. So it's all just here, nice and tidy and non-disruptive to the rest of this forum.

And yet, vox doesn't think Jack caused or stoked their derangement with his little banning game? "There never really was a donkeytale, but multiple users using tha name across different blogs." Huh?

Vox. It. was. a.game. He wasnt threatened. First he changed noom's, erics and my userids, at least twice each. I was "cocksucker mcgee" and "Joseph K" remember? Would jack have done that if he was truly threatened? Of course not. He was jacking, making pffun, pyrrhiod.

He even let me back in once during the middle of it all, then rebanned me when I made a purposefully hateful comment toward Devore, Sabrina and Something in a fairleft dairy ironically enuff. See? I knew his game and I was playing him back. Wanted to see the reaction to validate in my mind. And he reacted just as I thot he would. Rebanned me. Matybe he thot he was teaching Eric, noom and I a lesson. But he went way overboard and caused some RL damage to Sabrina and Something and perhaps some others, too.

Let me repeat. It was only after Sabrina melted down, thinking some form of four headed imaginary monster with multiple userids named "donkeytale" was "stalking" her, possibly in RL, that jack finally called off the jam, as we say in the Roller Derby game. He realized that he was messing up some fragile emotional states....

But he sat back and allowed me to take all the heat. Same basically as he did with dave. Turned it into a game and let dave twist, altho Jack is shirley happy about the new users dave brought in with the "secret Kostapo" file and all the other attendent huey.

That's FL's point. Controversy is good, but the KKKrowd will always seek to contain and restrain it. They want "civil discussion." Of course, the KKKrowd is never civil when it rears its ugly head, but thats the part that is interesting to me...

Ok, just a few more things left to share. Hat tip for the next one ironically goes to shadowthief. Here is an extensive interview done by Markos Moulitsas with ABC News. {excerpt- concerning his banning of conspiracy theories and in particular "election integrity"}

MOULITSAS: In 2004, there was -- there were a lot of claims that there was fraud in Ohio. And for several months, people, you know, kept talking about how George Bush stole the election in Ohio. And after enough of that, I thought, 'OK, the evidence isn't there. This is being counterproductive at this point. If you have new evidence that would indicate that, then by all means, you know, share.' But the same discredited, so-called facts were regurgitated over and over again, and finally I got tired of that. I thought it was destructive. I also banned that type of diary.

And I think, in a case like that, what the problem wasn't necessarily people saying that the election was stolen. It's they were making claims that it was voter-box stealing, when in fact, I think a really strong case can be made that enough people were disenfranchised in Ohio that perhaps that was the margin of victory for George Bush. And instead of focusing on the, on the real problems in the electoral system, such as ballot-box access, having people put in felon voter rolls when they were not felons, not enough boxes in poor neighborhoods, in Democratic-leaning neighborhoods while out in the suburbs, there can be an in-and-out voting in 15 minutes.

Those are real problems. And people are still fixated on, you know, the boxes -- the black boxes were stolen. That, I thought, took the focus away. And then actually de-legitimize actual conversations on voter rights issues that actually, you know, voter right violations that happened in Ohio.

The rule is really is that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. That's all we're saying. And when people make accusations without proper supporting, it's really frowned upon in the Daily Kos community, because we want to be reality-based. We want to be a reality-based community. We don't want to be one that's just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. I think I'd rather leave that to the Republicans -- that's what they do.

Then why wasn't Larisa Alexandrovna banned? Why was I attacked by the KosKops for supporting what Kos said above? Why was MajorFlaw such a big supporter of Larisa in regards to my Prepostericity diaries concerning Brett Kimberlin and "election integrity" hoaxes. Of course electronic voting machines are no good. Yet, of course hoaxes have been circulating for years revolving around the black box theories.

Jeepers, the Michael Connell threatened by Karl Rove hoax just recently got pushed. Flaw can be tied to the fakes at Democratic Underground. He had a problem with Dave going after Sean Hannity and John McCain but had no difficulty in supporting hoaxes revolving around election fraud? Epluribus media is still on the DKos blogroll. That website has had plenty of "coverage" giving the Connell and other hoaxes credibility. It just doesn't add up. Same with all the attacks on me for being a so-called conspiracy theorist. If I'm that, then the ex-KosKop Kops are living in glass houses. On their blogroll at FSZ, one can easily get to BradBlog and RawStory. They also have all the DKos off-shoots lined up. It goes back to what donkeytale said in the link above.

But there are many ways . . . and it can happen here, even at fsz! Today donkeytale (emphasis added), discusses the non-reaction of many at fsz to Jack's crazed banning of multiple users last Nov. 28:

The problem is, you all fell for it, willfully. Nobody wants to piss off the Commander-in-Chief even on a third-rate blog.

Yup, here too we live within the fear and groupthink of the whiteysphere, as indicated by the by-and-large whimpy reaction to Jack's drug-addled banning spasm. Suddenly he morphed into the boss, not just that cheery undergrad who happened to plop into blog admin. And many reacted instinctively....

I got the same treatment from MSOC. Then when I returned fire more efficiently than she ever could have imagined, she perma-banned my arse and reported me to the FBI for cyberstalking. That was after it seems I had the gall to rummage through her HuffingtonPost comments and see that she doesn't support taxing the rich. That was after I had shown just like Fairleft did that certain fight clubs are rigged. That was after I had shown as Marisacat had, that if public personalities are gonna bring their family and issues into the public sphere, such folks cannot complain when others use their free speech rights to discuss such self-wallowing meanderings.

The following is from a right winger, that I in no way support ideologically speaking. Yet, this person has hit the spot in regards to explaining the MSOC phenomenon. I don't agree with his political conclusions. I agree with how he explains how MSOC is all about MSOC and her misfortunes.

This also takes us back to the Booman overreaction to folks finding out who his girlfriend is. I believe that was just a ploy to shut down the growing dissent centering around the awareness that the so-called left blogs are not so leftish. Markos Moulitsas is a big fan of the CIA. That is not left wing. Democratic Underground is neither democratic nor underground. True lefties do not allow one-sided hate speech as seen at these venues. True lefties do not cozy up with "progressive moderates" like KarmaStench nor producers from Fox News {AngryRich?}. In short, true lefties, peaceniks, and intellectuals are not wanted at the political dinner table.

Here's another strange thingie. Maryscott and other Kossacks used to hang out at the right wing website named Red State. That one has been characterised as being a right wing version of Daily Kos.

It's really sad what happened to MSOC and her life. She'd probably be happy to hear of someone feeling sorry for herself. Though she does have her small group of syncophants eating up her every sorrow with a cold glass of milk. She basically got in over her head. She is an admitted college dropout. She is virtually unreadable due to all the cap locks and cursing. She is incompetent at running a fair ship. She has supported too many right wingers and "progressive moderates" such as and Phil. I. Stine {AngryRich?} and Karmafish. She has been too easily manipulated and made the fool by KosKoppers like ThereIsNoSpoon, Armando, Eugene, and also by apparently insidious forces such as Curmudgette. And what's up with the poster named Nonpartisan? Isn't the point to be partisan and get stuff done on behalf of social and environmental justice? I advised her to dump the fake progressives dominating her forum. At that point, I hadn't been too aware of her complete background, of how she had been the wrong person at the right time to build up the counter-Kos following.

Well, maybe she can get back into the acting field. She claims to be a natural at acting and is proud of her blue eyes. Is she also proud of being semi-nude in Lee Stranahan's film? This is her, correct? That looks like the same Maryscott O'Connor from the cast photo.

Bring It On, MSOC!

I just cross-posted The Revenge of DonkeyTale: FSZ and Jack Are Cheating Pigs at MyLeftWing. We shall see if it is allowed to remain. I sense at a minimum, I will be banned. The following is the new stuff added.

This is a cross-post of an updated cross-post along with some added goodies, hence the v.3 part. Aaaah, where do we start? Well, I came into this MLW thing with an open-mind. It's always nice to find a place which doesn't ban and delete. But it has come to my attention that this place does indeed ban and delete. I have checked out the archives and see that KosKops used to dominate this place, such as with ThereIsNoSpoon and Armando. Last night, while scanning for info on the latter, the king of all KosKops, I noticed that an MLW thread was completely missing.

While a certain element follows me around the internet in order to portray me as a paranoid, conspiracy theorist who attempts to wrecks blogs, I have learned that no place is sacred as regards to playing fair. If someone knows of a place that doesn't scrub and prune, please let me know. For this reason, I don't put much effort anymore into posting here or at FSZ. It will always be in the back of my mind that shit will be manipulated. Say like with the thread where I exposed KarmaFish for having a strange fixation on Francis Holland and for doing to him what he claims Francis does to MAMZ. How is one to know that sequence will stay intact? One doesn't. And for this very reason, even more so than that the atmosphere may feel stale; readership and posting at such places tend to eventually dip into obscurity. Much more after the break.

I was reading through Armando's big thread here where he was explaining why he wouldn't be able to participate in the comment sections. Anyone have any extra-strength tylenol? OMG! He reminds me of the JREF debunker cult types, those who just don't know how to go with the flow and have even an ounce of empathy or open-mindedness for others during conversations.

Anyway, I just wanted to add a couple more links and whatnot to this entry before posting and then saving. Hey, maybe this won't be deleted. But the record shows that nothing is safe at even this joint. And that's where the idea for adding the following extra links origates from. If I'm not banned from this place, I will be surprised. But I hope the ptb's here understand that I cannot respond to too much, for I refuse to invest time into anything which is susceptible to memory holes. Capiche?

Here the BloggingCurmudgeon explained to MLW that he was not so happy with the use of the scrub brush. Here at a different blog, someone came up with their own feedback for Mr. Curmudgeon, to paraphrase, welcome to reality. That's actually a pretty good thread to look at. Some of ThereIsNoSpoon's mysoginy which would have otherwise gone down a memory hole was posted.

Anyhoo, the truth is out there. Such as the following posted by Francis Holland at his truth about Kos blog.

I still see no explanation from Kos or from any of his false fronts here for the suspicious timeline provided through his own words to the Commonwealth Club. As LetTheSunShine at DKos, I recently gave Zuniga yet another chance to clear the air. He instead did his hands over his ears I'm not listening routine.

Socrates, the way I was able to connect MAMZ to death squads indirectly is that the man listed in Salvadoran Government documents as the manager of the Moulitsas Zúñiga "family hotel" is also listed as a representative on the board of the National Association of Private Enterprise in El Salvador, which the CIA has called a right-wing "pressure group", and which was virulently attacking Monsignor Romero at the time of his assassination.

That's the connection I see. He's got an apparent family member as a representative to the board of a group the the US CIA connects with right wing death squads. What more does anyone need to know, and if I'm wrong then why doesn't MAMZ just explain to us what the truth of the matter is?

So basically, anyone who has said that Holland has libeled MAMZ about the death squads has nothing on him. Did Francis cross a line with posting that Kos worked for the CIA? I don't think so. HAVE ANY OF YOU DISPUTED THE STRANGE TIMELINE PRESENTED THROUGH MARKOS' OWN WORDS? HAS MARKOS ZUNIGA EVER EXPLAINED HIS STRANGE HISTORY? I SUGGEST TO MSOC THAT SHE INDEED TURN THIS FORUM INTO A BASH KOS WEBSITE, OR AT LEAST ALLOW THOSE OF US WHO CAN SEE THROUGH THE KOSKOP NONSENSE, WHO HAVE LOOKED INTO THINGS SUCH AS THE UGOGS AND CRAZY BANNINGS, HIDDEN COMMENTS, AND DELETIONS THERE AND ELSEWHERE BE ABLE TO GET THIS STORY OUT. This is a cross-post from the FreeSpeechZoneBlog. The main reason I cross-post is because one never knows when stuff is gonna be deleted. Another reason for my posting this here is because I called DonkeyTale the historic troll in a previous entry. I truly believe that the people at FSZ are some form of paid fake. Cointelpro? Could be. At a minimum, political consultants/lawyers are all over the "progressive" blogs. They are the reason, not the far right, that the internet is a joke of a factor in making a dent into the status quo. I just can't figure out where to go next.

My All Aircraft Are Not Involved forum is slow as molasses and truly has become a blog in the form of a forum. Perhaps it will pick up again at some point. I'll never give up on it. As for deletions and stuff like that, I will never do it. I am not afraid to own my words. I am not ashamed of my blogging. When I'm at saloons like FSZ and MLW, I am not afraid to toss back a few brews. When I was at DailyKos, I bent over backward to be polite. But that didn't stop Michael Fingerit from making sure I got banned for no good reason.

I like to blog. I am not a troll or troublemaker. I have not been banned that much. The places I have been banned from did so for no good reason. Plus, those places are dives full of outright misinfo, disinfo, and unfair moderating. So what you see at FSZ and to a lesser extent at MLW, two places I have not been banned from, are hordes of thought police. I truly believe that Melvin, CometMan, Lauren S, DeeDogg, Denali, and many others could be the same person or working together. How does Melvin sound any different from Lauren S or CometMan? Anyway, the reader into this kind of stuff can decide for themselves. What we are witnessing, imho, is the utter breakup of any shred of credibility for the blogosphere as being democratic.

I am into saving time for newbies and fence-sitters. I know how tough it can be to figure out who is legit and who is insidious. One can keep taking every poster at face value until they are blue in the face of enigmas. The key is, one must reflect on nuggets when they come into contact with them. For me, I see someone like Greenwood stalking me at FSZ and MLW, and I do see close comparisons to the cybersmear fockers who have been on my arse for the last two years. If I am an insignificant conspiracy theorist, then why all the sophisticated attention?

I noticed that this Armando dude, who used to be a frontpager and lead trollhunter at DKos, was given full moderator abilities by MSOC back in the day at MyLeftWing. On the surface, MSOC appears to be a hottie lefty. But when one gets into the nuggets such as this, when they look at the two concern trolls named Curmudgette and KarmaFish who dominate her forum, when they truly understand what happened to Francis Holland, then enough already. MSOC is not a true lefty and is truly a waste of time. One of her close friends and posters is a producer for Fox News. Case closed on that self-admitted basket case. The Revenge of DonkeyTale: FSZ and Jack Are Cheating Pigs

It can now be confirmed without a doubt that this is the most rigged forum on the internet. Don't let the free speech zone in the title fool you. The fish rots from the head down. Jack's Smirking Revenge is clearly not who he claims to be. This place was rigged from the get-go. Proof supplied after the break.

It's simple. This latest brouhaha over myself, Noom {random guy}, and DavidByron being banned was not performance art. It was a test run that utterly failed. Ultimately, what is left here are the dregs of the KosKops. This forum was started at the same time as the UGOGs. The plan was to have a fake meta-war between MajorFlaw and these others consisting primarily of Jack, Lauren S, CometMan, Melvin, DeeDogg, Kestrel9000, and many others including Denali and TheBlaz.

The reason DonkeyTale was anti-MAMZ meta wasn't because he didn't believe Daily Kos and the rest of the white-o-sphere are full of fake progressives. He thought it was fruitless what DFQ was up to. That is his right also.

I turned on DonkeyTale for a brief period of time after he called me Sock Rat. I then went on to post at DaveFromQueens2.blogspot that he was the historic troll. I am like that. When I get attacked, I attack back. Curmudgette and MSOC call me a douchebag, then good luck to them once they have come onto my cyber-sleuthing radar system. Revenge is sweet.

Myself and DonkeyTale were able to work through a lot of our suspicions of the other while at DaveFromQueens.com. He explained that he was pro-Dave, even if he necessarily wasn't interested in what he was doing.

You see, DonkeyTale was one of the original anti-MAMZ people. I went to his posts at DKos. I can't find one post he made that was troll-rated. I have no clue why he was banned. Then I looked for proof that he had stalked Susan or anyone else. I found none. What I did find in his DKos posts was the same kind of good sense of humour, though he hadn't started with his kkk/wright spelling schtick.

I checked out nowhereweb.com in the wayback machine. I went to BooMan Tribune to see what he did wrong there. Basically, DonkeyTale is the original socrates, the one who keeps getting his ass unfairly kicked no matter where he ends up on the internet. For some reason or another, blogospheric ptb's do not want him succeeding on the net.

Anyway, this dude Brian NoWhere from the NoWhere blog asked at Booman's for anyone to show where DT's comments were that would explain why got banned. None were supplied.

Let's go back in time a bit.

DonkeyTale got kudos from Dave for sticking up for the truth. Without doubt, Jack is a lying sack of shit. Read through that link and come back....

Jack has lied so often, that nothing he says can ever be trusted. He had that crazy lie about DT, Noom, and ShadowThief or someone all being the same person. He has consistently lied about MajorFlaw being a regular guy. The latest big lie he made was when he yet again took credit for the outing of the UGOGs, when anyone who has looked into this knows, that he has had nothing to do with anything but efforts to cover it up and protect the UGOG/KosKops. This whole friggen place is full of them. It's the same old, same old cynical ploy to increase web hits among the addicted to the soapblox family of hate blogs.

Anyway, DonkeyTale caught Jack in that lie and confronted him. Jack then proceeded to delete his lying post which then erased DT's and I think another one by Noom.

Jack made up some shit about how he doesn't have a cancel button. The thread was retitled to Thunderdome and Jack asked us to take this to his "Holy....F*cking....Shit" thread. More on that in a second.

Anyway, the Thunderdome thread has been completely deleted. Jack will say that the diarist did that not him. But remember this, how come at DKos when diaries are deleted, the comments remain? How come here they don't? Is it because Jack's Smirking Revenge is a lying f***ing douchebag piece of shit? Of course!

Here is what is left in yahoo cache of the thread in question. It was written by 'Diogenes Dalee', a suspected KosKop who made a post as recently as a few hours ago from while I am finishing this one up.

I was looking through the other thread that still exists. Jack has taken down an image he had up proving he doesn't have a cancel button. Now that was odd in itself, since Curmudgette, the #3 poster to ever sign up here, fancy that, says that admins have cancel buttons.

You see, Jack is all about plausible deniability. But he isn't that bright. Is MajorFlaw bright? What about Kestrel9000, DeeDogg, CometMan, Melvin, Lauren S, or most of the others from FSZ? NO F***ING WAY. THESE ARE COMPLETE F***ING IDIOTS WHO NEED TO CHEAT WHEN THEY GET THEIR TROLL ASSES EXPOSED!

I'll finish this diary off by leaving the last words to Brian Nowhere. This is taken from June 2006. I'm not suggesting to go down some Armando rabbit hole. I just feel that it's a good anecdote for all the bullshit that goes on in the "progressive" blogosphere. It shows how much cheating does in fact go on.

These people are the scum of the earth. They are fascist pigs. And of course I will need to save this page after writing it. The thing about this website is nothing is safe. Jack is a proven cheater. The whole thing or parts of it could be deleted with no notice. Unless someone stumbles across deletions like I did with the Thunderdome diary, these shitf***s continue to act like no one knows exactly their methods and their utter lack of morals and souls. Are people like Melvin and Lauren S the bottom of the barrel? Yes, they are the types who if they got sick and died, one would feel guilty over feeling pleasure for such a situation. If Armando got "outed", then it's Armando's fault for not being careful enough and Armando's fault alone. There is no one else to blame, not even WIKI or the National Review. Any old school hacker will tell you, "information wants to be free" If it ever finds daylight, free it will be.


If you have opinions in this world and wish to express them you have to be prepared to back them up with YOU. It's such a simple tenet I can't believe it's even being debated.


If expressing your views is too risky to your professional career then you have a choice. Quit your job or STFU.


Anonymity is not a right except for undercover cops and CIA Agents and the like. Lawyers, thankfully are not granted this protection.


If an intrepid reporter had discovered that Mark Felt was Deep Throat, they would have been well within their rights to report it, and report it they would have.
Obviously our Mr. Felt was simply much more clever than you Armando (and with much more at stake and many more people working to uncover it), but had he not been, he would have been named long ago and rightfully so. I checked my comments this morning at boomans and saw that a shitload of my comments were gone, which really freaked me out for a second.

I went over to Dkos last night to see that suskind also crossposted his article there.

The funny thing was that the Dkos version had all pro-Armando comments w/ ALL OF THEM kissing his ass and wishing him well.

Suskind had his nose so far up Armando's ass that if he sneezed, snot would have come out of Armando's mouth.

The very same article posted at Booman had suskinds' logic getting torn to shreds and almost everyone disagreeing with him.
In the end he was cornered by common sense into basically conceding the point, which is why I guess he deleted his article.

The great purge of all things dissenting at Dkos must have been pretty damn complete because I swear there was not one single solitary comment in opposition to Armando's POV. It makes me want to puke seeing what's happening over at the big Orange.

to say "hello". Seems appropriate to leave the comment in the Armando letter, all things considered.

There was a very stupid comment made later that night by the site owner, Green version. Added to the deletions at BMT and the censoring of commentary at MLW (according to a comment at BMT) it was a bit much for me.

It is a tired game they all have going.

Games games games.

The thing that cracks me up is how illusory all this shit is. I've recently been more fascinated with the whole policical blogging phenomenon that I've been with the actual antics of Bush & Co.

I enjoy watching the conflict that exists at these sites between the proprietors and the contributors, with the former continually battling the latter for control.

I've wondered, do most people frequent these sites for the first-class writing of the staff, or do they come to vent, to get shit off of their chest?
I suspect that the dailyKos became the mega-site it is today not for Kos & company's fantastic insights, but because of the compelling nature of the tension played out in the commenting & recommended diaries. People really take that shit seriously.

Don't get me wrong. I do think that the daily kos and boomantribune are doing great things. I just can't believe that they can not come up with more creative ways of dealing with the "outsiders" who don't color between the lines than to just ban people.

The whole Armando thing was a hoot though. Talk about your glass houses and not thowing stones! I guess people who think their shit doesn't stink think that that the great cliches (glass houses, chickens coming home to roost, mess with a bull get the horns etc.) don't apply to them like the rest of us mortals.

All of this gives me a great idea for a blog, which would be a blog that serves as a watchdog over all the other blogs. All that would be discussed is what drama is unfolding at all the other blogs.

I'll have to add that to my Million Dollar Ideas feature, which is a regular feature that I'm working on. Although this particular idea is probably more of a hundreds of dollars idea than it is a million dollar one.
